Just minutes from La Hacienda, the town is easy to explore at your own pace: from a morning walk through the market to a long lunch before heading back to the villa.
ART & LOCAL LIFE
Tepoztlán’s character can be found in its streets and in the work of its local artisans. Markets and small workshops showcase traditional crafts, from candle-making and papier-mâché to the hand-carved pochote figures found throughout the town.
During local celebrations, chinelos bring music and color to the streets, while the murals of Santo Domingo bring a more contemporary expression of art to the neighborhood.
